Project Partners The TIP Partnership The Technology Immersion Project (TIP) is a public-private partnership.  The project is sustained through a series of strategic partnerships across government, industry and academic sectors.  TIP uses a collaborative management model.  Partners from several sectors contribute valuable resources to the project, including: The Texas Education Agency, Division of Education Technology is providing project leadership, project funding and senior project management. Region 10 Education Service Center is providing localized implementation assistance to schools and vendor partners at immersion sites throughout Texas. Key vendor partners (see below) are providing the components of the Technology Immersion Packages being implemented in the pilot sites around the state. The Texas Center for Educational Research is providing core research and evaluation services to the multiyear eTxTIP project. The US Department of Education is providing national coordination and funding for the related eTxTIP evaluation project. JPX Interactive Technologies is providing project design, implementation and communications services to TIP. Vendor Partners TIP vendors have formed partnership teams in order to participate in and offer bundles of products and services to schools participating in the project.  Vendors follow a project-developed blueprint to create these product and service bundles, called “technology immersion packages”.  The cross company partnerships formed around these technology immersion packages will extend throughout the life of the project.
