The Technology Immersion Pilot (TIP) project is occurring over several years. The first year (2003-04) was devoted to project design, technology immersion package design and implementation site selection. The 2004-05 year was devoted to package implementation at participating sites and the launch of the eTxTIP evaluation project. The 2005-06 year involves continued use of the technology immersion packages at the pilot sites and continued evaluation. Research and evaluation efforts will continue through 2008. Additional sites will be added to the TIP project if additional funding becomes available. A general project calendar is as follows:
