Whole District Immersion
In Clarksville ISD, the Technology Immersion Project has immersed the entire school district, grades K-12, in order to assess the affects of ubiquitous technology on all levels of K-12 learning. Clarksville ISD is a small rural school district in Red River County near the Oklahoma border. The TIP project in this district is serving approximately 970 students at Clarksville Elementary, Middle, and High Schools. The project is immersing all pre-kindergarten-12th grade students in the district. The goal of the TIP project in this district is to move teaching into the 21st Century and prepare its students for the world in which they must.
